Having not been the game, reading the comments on here, it sounds like people are talking like we have had some sort of pasting. People love a good over reaction. People need to remember it's these same **** player and useless manager which had got us top 10 in the league & the 4th round of the FA cup.

Garbage performance, everything about it stunk.

Another weak and negative team selection, no need for Griff when playing a side who have won 1 in 21. Adams certainly set up for the draw and its not good enough. We've been poor for a while now and a couple of average performances against the likes of Colchester that have gained us wins have masked how poor we've really been.

Why is Jones playing on the wing? He is a left back he has said this himself, now dicko is a better left back than Jones, so Jones dosent play simple as, why on earth we are playing Jones out of position over a dangerous player like JMW is beyond me.

To those who say we created nothing on saturday because we didnt have pope, well there we go, its negative and boring tactics along with the players having no desire or passion (because of smurfs comments). Clear what will happen now a boring end to the season where we will finish about 15th.

Adams once again proving why he's vastly over-rated by many.

Wouldn't lose any sleep if we had a new manager next season.

Stop moaning. Yes replacing an experienced manager and one of most successful since Rudge who has probably done well to get something out of such average players, with someone cheap and probably inexperienced sounds a great idea.

Our budget is already at the lower end of the scale, whoever comes in will probably be without the likes of Loft and will need to keep us up.

I think Adams could keep us up next season.

So you didn't go?

Trust me. I drove nearly 2 hours there and 2 hours back. I paid £20 to get in.

The performance was a joke.

It was terrible. We have been dreadful away from home. Adam Yates was appalling how people can justify him being a League 1 player is beyond me. It was painful trying to watch him keep up with Adam Reach. Jones look knackered after 60 odd minutes and should of come off, yet Adams decided

again to be a stubborn little man and keep Myrie-Williams on the bench and keep Vale camped in their own half against a side that hadn't won in 14 and then inevitably concede the goal. Terrible.

Defensively sound with the notable exception of Yates. Lofty worked his socks off. Griff was immense and my mom even though I usually slag him off. Pope was working the line on his own upfront as both Willo and Hughill were ineffectual. Jones never seems to be fit ever and this was the case yesterday. Lines to me is overrated. He can't tackle, I can only remember one decent free kick all season. People who likened him to the great Ray Walker must have had a lobotomy at birth. Bootlaces and tie springs to mind. We lackedany width at all ladt night. JMW is hopeless at defending but so was Jones but every now and then he can bring something new to the party.

I went, and Caselord is right. We had a decent first half of the season. We have been poor for a month or so. We will finish mid table. In the grand scheme of things, that's much better than I expected. There have certainly been a lot fewer dire performances this season than I expected there would be, and arguably there have been fewer than there were last year, despite being promoted.

To those who say we created nothing - that's rubbish. Their keeper had to make excellent saves twice from Loft, then from Hugill and Lines had his great 40 yard effort cleared off the line with the keeper awol.

Having said that, our lack of width was plain for all to see. We never got to the byeline once that I can remember and the front men were playing with their backs to goal virtually the whole game. Why Jones stayed on the pitch is a mystery. He seemed to have no real idea of his role - he wasn't getting down the line and was contributing very little defensively. I wanted him replaced by JMW at half time but Adams seemed content with the draw rather than take what would have been a minor risk by bringing on an attacking player. JMW has done well against Bradford in the past, indeed their local radio blokes were astonished to see him on the bench, so it would surely have been worth a go. Bradford's inability to hit a barn door when close to goal is clearly the reason for their poor run - their general play was good and Gary Jones again showed what an excellent player he is at this level.

A minor point but did anyone else think that one of our defenders was fouled as the ball came over for the goal? Being at the other end of the pitch made it difficult to be certain what had happened but a draw would have been unfair on Bradford I suppose.

I think Adams is trying to make a point with Jones as he is often injured. Is it in his head or is he injury prone? He'll only get so long to prove himself. When not injured he's a good player

Personally I feel that jones does not want to play for Vale. He seemed to purposedly go out to get himself sent off at Sheff Utd. He went off with a muscle injury at MK dons, how I don't know because he never moved to pull a muscle!

At Gillingham he constantly went from rubbing various parts of his legs to pulling his socks over his obviously cold knees.

In recent home games he never seemed to move freely when tasked with defensive duties but at times ran the full backs ragged and put some outstanding crosses in. (rather like last season)

I didnt go last night but the feedback back from the brave souls that went seems to further support my argument.

One more point, I like Jones, but consider him to be a talent wasted!

I don't think we are quite good enough to go up, but let's face it this is our first season in league one, give it next season let's try bring in a player or two and push on from there,if you would have told me last season we would be in the top half of league one I wouldn't have believed you,we are not playing great football at the minute, but we are not fighting relegation either.
