Chatting to a dad of my sons friend today and he is aware of big trouble at the Vale. He attended Vale v Wolves courtesy of his friend that works at Vale and said friend advices that a number of vale park upgrades including new shop, sign writing etc has yet to be paid for. Office staff etc have been put on notice about not being paid this month. I have never posted like this but my source spoke absolutely genuine and I have no reason to disbelieve him.

What the eff is going on!!??

With ref to the issue of the suggestion that Smurf was looking to remortgage the ground, I questioned the original poster and got a pm back. Hence why I raised the issue to Ally to clarify with Smurf. This was the original pm I got. Please note I've removed the username of the person who sent it.

 

"Not a bad start on the field. My source tells me of redundancies, remortgaging the ground, not talking to one another since before the season started. One has left from the commercial dept. and one from the finance dept. Adams bled Smurf dry because he was naive. Now he realises how much it costs to run the club he wants out. Watch this space but please keep my identity to yourself. Regards mate. It isn't nice getting these rumours but I know Smurf reads this forum and I want him to respond"

Are we broke?.... I take it you are referring to the club?.... do you include smurf in the question?... or just the business?

 

Smurf... no

The business... I think possibly the business has funded a larger than expected outlay with smaller than expected immediate returns. I dont think its broke but I dont know the financials.

 

It is a business and it has to pay its own way.

How can you remortgage something that you own outright?

 

If you had a mortgage and paid it off you could remortgage the property.

The land/property could be remortgaged if it has had a mortgage previously.

If the owner has never had a mortgage on the land/property then he/she/they cant remortgage but can mortgage.

Yes and i got the same message by 'someone' asking me to post it also AND i refused about a month ago.......And Andy you and your mates on PVO moan about Smurf and his participation in Social Media want him to respond......HOW, i suggest you pop up to Vale Park and put these questions to him.......'Adams bled a naive Smurf dry' on WHAT.....:laugh:.The majority of Smurfs money has been spent on purchasing and developing our ex Bankrupt Club......You my friend are firing someone with a BIG grudge against Adams's and the Club's bullets mate.......:rolleyes:

are certain people going anti smurf within the space of 5 months. i'm sure all this cant be true. adams didn't bleed him dry he can't under the rules there have been misunderstandings between them about the wage budget that all. plus here we go again with someone leeking stupid information cant we stop being negative and try to enjoy what is going to be an important season

Bit harsh towards PVO there Jimmy. I've not seen anything about this. Andy appears to be his own man so fair play to him . Everyone moans about Smurfs Media usage not just the clique on PVO. I'm very much pro Smurf so just let's hope we can move on together .

 

What i said about certain members on PVO also applies to plenty of people on here....If these anti-Smurf continues i can see him selling up and doing one.....

Not having a go mate but do you think this poster just wanted to stir some **** up(I mean why wouldn't they put it on themselves,answer its bs and they didn't want look a ****)?? smurf has ALWAYS said he has the money to get us to the Championship and I for one have never had any reason to doubt him.

Imo there are still people employed at Vale who spread nasty rumours wanting to stir **** up(in short are still loyal to those last lot of ****ers and are more than likely still listening to their bollo..x)

 

The person concerned is a disgruntled EX Employee Carl..........
