Vale extend window for early bird ticket sales

The Vale really are a PR dream aren't they.

It's easy to see why this guy has been hired with statements like those of today.

If sales are so good why are the club refusing to tell local media the numbers?Think back a few years and they couldn't wait to tell all and sundry when the Target 5,000 campaign was in full swing.

Then there's "inundated" with letters. Firstly, how many folk write letters in this day and age, and secondly this is at a club where the previous manager said he was lucky to get 2 or 3 phone calls a day.

As ever with this lot, the words and figures differ. Apparently having over a 3rd of your fans marching to the ground in protest doesn't constitute a mass protest these days. Is he expecting some form of people's revolution of Burslem on a level comparable with Egypt?

Never mind Ever Valiant. I'm ever hopeful that someone in charge at our club will see sense, do the right thing and arrange for the hand over of power to the Chaudry/Sims project at which point we can all pull together for the good of Port Vale.

It's an offer which is to good to turn down which in my honest opinion will see the tills ringing away in the ticket office. Don't delay as the extension is for one month only. Tik tok, only a tenner a game.

What are you worrying about Robbie Hoodwink, you get yours free from your uncle Bill, with a free clock for services rendererd. Tic tok goes the clock. and tik tok my money stops in my bank.

Oh, and as for a club that listens to it's fans. How about listening to the will of the shareholders and announce the General Meeting rather than dragging it out to the last possible moment and then doing likewise to hold it?

Or is this a club that only hears what it wants to Perry?

If 1/3 of Stoke fans marched there would be Approx 7000 people on it.Man utd there would be say 25000.would they be classed as a large protest? I think so.Perry open your eyes to see what is going on.1500+ Vale fans is massive .don't pretend otherwise .

Well done Perry for extending untill the end of the mouth. Should put another 1000 on season ticket sales.

There is an easy way to sell almost 2,000 season tickets. They will sell so fast that there would be people queuing faster than they could be served.

How can this be achieved?

Let Mo Chaudry take charge of the club and all of the 'starve them out' brigade will rush to get their season tickets - simple.

If a third of the UK population were to march in protest against anything it would be 20 million.

Perhaps that if Mr Deakin's idea of mass protest.

Most of them will anyway, either that or they will be dipping into the pockets at £19 a game.. Talking of small numbers really so it dont really matter either way..

Talking the talk is ok but when it comes to walking the walk ?..

Bargain....Simples...

That Nobby, is the first time you have spoken sense. I assume this is directed to that ignorant ****** who thinks he owns our club and is regarding the MC bid? After all, why turn it down...

You, like all of the pro-board lobby, fail to grasp the SEO campaign. It's not about people not buying season tickets and then paying £19.50 on the gate. The people who have signed up to SEO WONT buy a season ticket and WONT pay on the gate until this board is gone.

Highly doubtful for two reasons.

1. The principle of SEO is to not renew and not attend.

2. In a low wage area, there isn't a chance folk will keep forking out £19.50 a game to watch poor standard, 4th tier football. Particularly once we build a squad on yet another reduced budget.
