It's his match sharpness that will be the concern. Fitness is easy to get back if you work hard which after the couple of yrs he's had he'll be desperate for the season.

The medication he has been on through his time out injured may have put weight on him,maybe the medication has changed his metabolism.Give the guy a chance if he proves himself to MA and MA is happy to offer him some sort of contract.Then so be it.

If he is cheap, works hard and doesn't take the place of a proven signing then I'm happy for us to take a chance on him. We have signed Tomlin which we didn't expect. So as long as we get the extra centre half we need and a couple of centre mids then all is good.

yes he does look a bit out of shape, but he isn't costing vale anything at the moment, trust me, a fit Dickinson will take us into the championship. come on dicko get fit and show adams what youre made of son

Dicko knows what is expected of him and only he will know if his body is up to it. Adams is rightly giving him all the time he needs to get fit and lose weight to see if an offer of a contract is viable.

 

We all expect a fit Dicko to be a massive boost to our squad but Adams is no mug, he will not allow him to sign unless he is totally right. Since he's costing us nowt whilst he's on trial then I am all for giving Dicko every opportunity to prove himself.
