Put it like this. We have had an average low wage with the odd high earner here and are told that we are roughly on a 5000 break even mark.

Even if they have similar (id suspect so with Zola and even Tommo turned us down to go there) they get gates of 2500.

 

I suspect they have money in the bank though, especially from their cup tie at Man Utd a few years ago.

Their club has obviously been run better than ours and they have reaped the rewards. However there is not much potential for them.

Like Stevenage and Crawley in league 1 they will find it very hard to progress further unless they live beyond their means.

I can't stand Burton and after all the favours Bradford have done for us in the run-in i'd hoped they would do it :/

As long as it's not Northampton I don't mind. Burton has done well this season and their fans will say it was better than they could have hoped for. Bradford - they have always been the big club who have not performed during the previous seasons. They have finally got it sorted this season. Cheltenham - don't think they will do it.

id defintely prefer Burton - close, good ale and the retutn of Tomlinson. Just taken this from Bradfords forum regarding last nights game;

 

I think the frustrating thing for me was that Burton looked VERY shaky at the back.

When we eventually did have a go at them they didn't know what to do!

 

The lad who cut his face and came back on with a bandage looked very shaky afterwards, he didn’t really want to know after that!

 

As for “Jonny Bravo” Burton’s Keeper…well…possibly one of the worst Keepers I’ve seen for a long time yet we hardly tested him.

He was HUGE…In fact…We’re short on prop forwards this evening against the Bulls…Hope he can play.

Couldn't agree more. We buy him and they sign Ryan Burge. Would love Burton to go up,just as long as it's not Northampton. Like others have said Crap ground and we never seem to beat them.
