Well i think its still a good deal, it could have been enhanced with the release of ST prices at the same time. This then enabling people to see the costs of next season and hopefully league1 football. This might have even helped reel in a few extra season tickets through the floaters.

But its all about saturday i just think Wildes dropped a clanger through twitter.

Its a good deal for vale fans but my bro and friend are fans of other teams but would have come to watch the game against the cobblers on saturday if the deal was a cut price but now won't now as the deal would not suit them.

Their loss. If they support other teams we will not be attracting them to buy season tickets at the Vale then.

I really doubt Sir Wildes will be too bothered about a few comments on a message board. With this business interests and success, i'm sure he's come across far bigger challenges than that.

Sir Wildes to lead us out of the Wilderness.

Well PW last week told Rob Fielding & OVF...

"It’s free market research," Paul Wildes told me, explaining how the club had monitored forum comments on the “back to 1994″ promotion and would now work on solving the inevitable small problems (queues, parking etc) that arose from such a large attendance. “Companies can pay an awful lot of money for that sort of customer feedback,” he added. “But we can read it for free on the forum."

That's what i first thought but maybe we are wrong as a mate of mine has just txt me to say he has been up the ticket office and there was a small queue but they said it had been like that al day and it was as busy as it was for the Burton offer, apparently there weren't many left for Lorne Street and Bycars was selling fast.

There was a bit of a queue when I went this morning as well.

Its a great offer.

The offer against Burton was specifically done to attract new customers. It was a success. The idea is that the new customers will come back again even at full price.

Its pointless if those new customers will only come back when theres an offer on. Beats the objective.

Get yourselves down VP and get a ST next year in these exciting times.

We will still crack 12k on Saturday in my opinion.

What a load of nonsense , can well believe it though .

The problem with this offer is that the Burton offer was way too cheap ( I know it was linked to 1994 prices ) people were expecting the same , it was never going to happen .

All of those moaning it's too dear at normal prices , where will you be next season if the going gets tough , not at the Vale I'll bet ?

No one at Rochdale had a problem with £20 + travel + food + expenses ( beer ! ) .

If you go the Vale ,you go the Vale, not just when the price suits you and only when we're winning.

Suppose all those who think it's too dear will also want thousands spent on new players etc in the summer 'n all !!

It's a business not a Charity , £20 for what could be one of our greatest days in a long long time , stop moaning and get yourselves down there .
