The problem with JMW is he can be frustration at times, mainly due to his decision making. I've groaned to myself when he's cut inside when he should have gone outside or vice versa. But, the stats don't lie, he's contributed to 20 goals this season, goals which may be very important at the final countdown, particularly if goal difference comes into play. And quite frankly, that's all I care about this season, getting out of this god forsaken league. What happens next season, I don't care about yet. First and foremost we need to get out of this league otherwise any talk of how he will perform in league one is redundant in any event. If we get out of league 2 JMW will have played a large part of it, as have others and for that he deserves our thanks and more importantly out support coming into the next two "cup finals".

I prefer jmw on the left, he looks a more balanced player and had two good efforts cutting in from the left yesterday. Having said that, he went missing second half and looked a little lazy for me.
Be careful what you say Tim Jenno is a protected species on here.

What you say is my thinking to a T. In our position players should be prepared to run till they drop and sweat blood for the cause because that is what winners do.... work their socks off!

I'll go with that 'Sweet Cheeks'. You are correct in what you say.

Agree with that, but you know as well as anyone why JMW cuts inside.

old sage - I have a question for you. Can you name me a winger in League 2 who you think is better than JMW?

I wouldn't swap him for anyone in League 2. He scores goals, 10 from midfield is a good return, 10 assists despite the fact that he is told to play on the right flank meaning he has to cut in unlike most wingers who play on their natural side, can take dead balls too and hit from long range.

Never see him hoofing it, always confident on the ball despite the scenario, never hides. Physically he is our fastest player. He can beat men for fun, how many yards does he gain us when we're under pressure due to his pace and ability on the ball?

In fact he's that good at at this level he often finds sides doubling up on him as they find him to be that much of a threat.

I genuinely don't understand how anyone can say they don't rate him. Stats do not lie. As for you saying he can't use his other foot, did you see the strike he hit with his right that fizzed just wide yesterday?

The fact he was rated 5th best player in the division says EVERYTHING you need to know mate.

Yes, but apart from that what did JMW ever do for us.;)

I'd like to argue with what you've said, however i've read your remarks and totally agree with you. So I won't:clap:

If Jacko's stats of 9 assists are correct then I don't see how I'm so silly. It isn't just this fact though ST it's more about JMW's reluctance to help the full back out and the way that he often doesn't appear to always fancy the challenge. Yesterday being a prime example.

By the way I don't care how silly I look folk said I was crazy 12 months ago when I said Tom Pope was worth a new contract. Let's let next season show how daft I am eh?

Some people just love to have a scapegoat, and it appears that Myrie-Williams is yours. Although why you're scapegoating a bloke who has scored or assisted nearly 20 goals for an (almost) promotion winning team, i aren't sure. Still it makes a change from most peoples obsession with Chilvers i suppose.

The real sad thing about this is your "wait until next season, then you'll see i'm right" attitude. Mainly because it seems like you're desperate for one of OUR players to fail so you can go "told you so". And thats sad.

You're entitled to your opinion of course. But my opinion is you're wrong.

Sage, were you watching a different game to me on Saturday? I though JMW was great, I can remember more than once rising to my feet to applaud him in defence and also more than one occasion covering at the back for wither full back.

Like always on here some people would moan if they have £5 notes coming out of their backside..........Happy with Pop Sage or disappointed he has not got 40 goals?

Mike,

I don't know any other player in league two who has defenders doubled up on him EVERY game. Clubs dont do that unless they are scared stiff of what he would do in a one on one and to be fair mate whenever he has had the chance of a one on one with the defender he almost always skins the guy.

In league 1 (hopefully) clubs will not worry about him so much and give him the chance of one on ones more often - I really hope so.

We are the top scorers mate and huge credit has to go to our wide men for that. Over the season i have seen some of the most scintillating wing play since Guppy and Mac and the entertainment value has been tremendous compared to what those saddos down the road have to watch.

See you in the Bulls Head, mate.
