I've had a look on their website and we will be in a side stand that holds 4000 but they set it at 3650 for segregation purposes. Surely if we win on Tuesday and we can seal promotion on Saturday then we are well capable of selling the whole lot. I'm going on Charlie's fun bus from the New Inn. It's gonna be awesome.

Spoons on Piccadilly isn't great but it's handy.

 

If you're on the train, see my post in the travel forum for advice on getting there.

 

Last time I was in there they didn't do food oddly. Don't know if that's a regular thing. If any Vale and are thinking of a spoons breakfast the one on Deansgate is miles better.

 

But forget that, take a 3 minute walk from Picadilly Gardens to the Coffee Pot for the best breakfast in Manc.

I'm on the train. Sinclairs Oyster Bar in Exchange Square is a better shout than Spoons - it's central, it's cheap, the lager is well kept and it has a large beer garden out front and on the way to Victoria.

 

Vale colours won't be on show because I'm a well dressed young gent unlike davehartshill ;)

I'd say we have sold 800 of the original allocation with 1000 of them left. They will go Wednesday and then we will get more to sell until Ftiday.

I think you may be correct Dave ,didn't someone mention we'd already sold 1400 the other day?

FB is saying 1800 sold as of this morning, not sure if its right or not

The capacity of the stand might not necessarily be the allocation they can give us. The authorities may limit the number of tickets we get in total. It's also Bury v Oldham on Saturday which is a big relegation clash in League One so I don't know how GMP will deal with two important games close to each other .

for cheap ale head for the WAVE bar in oldham street just across from piccadilly gardens. pint of strongbow 1 pound 50 pence. although can get a tad lairy in there as the bouncers on the door from 10 am and plastic glasses give you a clue.
