just been looking at adams park and wycombes attendances

the stadium as a capacity of 10,284

highest attendance 5500 against oxford, oxford took 1800

away end holds 2,026

i wonder if we'll be given anymore than that as they arent filling the stadium other than the 5500 they are mostly getting 4200-4500

Long way off yet! Few more nail biting days to come but I agree that Vale fans ought to pack out their stadium. Carnival atmosphere, hopefully with everyone in good spirits. Would expect Wycombe maybe keeping eye on Vale's progress so they can, if needed let us have more tickets. I truly believe though, that even if Vale are not promoted(holds his breath!) that we should give the lads a fantastic finale to the season by turning up there in mass numbers to tell them that we believe in our future.;)

Only prob for some people, is Hot dogs are very expensive at Wembley, so if it's the play offs, people might be saving. If we get past the semi that is. Lol

I think you'll be surprised, but time will tell I guess. If we're taking the kind of numbers we did to York on the back of a very poor run then personally I would think we'd take more than double that to Wycombe.

Very interesting 90% of vale fans I have spoken to think that promotion would be sealed at rochdale or wycombe and no one has seemed to mention the northampton game at home. From reading some post about about potentially how many we will take wycombe if we were able to get promoted against Northampton how full do u think vale park will be??? 9,500 would be my prediction

If we have the game against Northampton, knowing that promotion was achievable on that day, at home, then I wouldn't be surprised if we got 11-12000. The fact we haven't been promoted for 19 years, and haven't had any reall success for 12 years would see a lot of fans come out of the wood work for one big promotion party. Regardless of all that, I can see us getting a big attendance against Burton given the price reduction, and I know the club have given away a load of free tickets in the bycars to community groups, so that should look a lot fuller than usual.

If we're on for automatic promotion against Wycombe. I think regardless of the number of tickets they give us, we'd sell them. They can open up part of their side stand opposite the camera's for away fans. I know they already do this for really small followings and keep them out of the stand behind the goal, so if a big following is expected they can open up that area as well. I think a few seasons ago when Gillingham got relegated there, Gills took over 3000.

I hope Burton and Northampton bring a few given the position of all 3 clubs both in the league and giographically For the first time in years vale park could be rocking

I'm going to have to get my mate to buy tickets for the Wycombe game. Normally would not worry about it, but our plan is to take in the Northampton game having arrived in UK the morning of the 20th and stay in London on the 27th after the Wycombe game before flying home Sunday. Anyone else coming from overseas?
