Gooooarn! Fantastic stuff from Papa Smurf and Wildes. They are really trying so hard to promote this club in more ways than one. They deserve success and I for one am so chuffed to be part of their Vale revolution. Down to anyone now who has never been to Vale Park to join in the fun and enrol in the future of a great Club.

Does PW not know that under FL rules visiting supporters are charged the same as home supporters.

I'm not 100% sure on this but I think you are allowed to make a couple or so special offers per season just to home fans..

I don't want to pour cold water on such a great idea, but I actually went out and bought a half season ticket in January. I can't get to the match on Good Friday as I'm at work, so I've paid for a game I can't see and then don't get any benefit from this offer.

It's a huge match anyway which I'd have hoped we'd push 7,000 for. Now if we don't get 10,000 through the gate with this publicity and pricing then I'll deem it a failure. This is bound to attract new supporters, and encourage some of those lost fans who haven't been down to Vale Park for 10+ years.

 

The part-time excuse makers must be racking their brains to find a reason not to attend this one...
