I reckon JMW, Vincent and Williamson will all get into double figures, easily. Barring any lengthy injuries.

 

Last time we got promotion we had 3 players in double figures.What a a season that was.And look at Vale's home attendences..

Highest scorers in the whole of football league (44 goals) at present, so if we continue at the current average of 2 goals per game, there's every chance that one or two of these players will be in double figures--unless Tom Pope continues his scoring rate and ends up with 40 goals?!! Personally I don't care who scores them as long as the team as a whole scores more than the opposition! Up the Vale.

Before the Aldershot game Pope had a goal every 98mins and Williamson every 123mins so probably is similar after his goal at the weekend. In comparison Dodds Mins/goal is over 400mins.

 

Have been really impressed with Williamson this season and think he deserves to start a few more games with Pope.

 

Dodds has done well this season but think there always seems to be games that go by with little involvement from him.

I agree, when I've seen Dodds this season, he has played very well, despite not seeing him score.

Maybe the penalties should be added to Popes total for an equal comparison to Richards.

There's a few synergies with that season and this... 1st game of the season Burnley, a 6 goal result early doors in the season and 4 nil win late November... I just hope the end result is promotion!

How i see it, we need 30 league goals off popey, 10 each off JMW, Vincent, Dodds and williamson. Another 10 from the rest of the side and hopefully 1 or 2 of the players will get more. 80 + goals should get us out of the league.
