I would not want to be in the same room as Adams if Nick Craig can't be bothered to sign by Thursday.

 

If the deal is not signed before Thursday, then more than Adams will be fuming. If we miss the loan deadline then it really will be an uphill battle to stay in the top 7 never mind top 3 given injuries and suspensions are already starting to bite and it will get worse.

 

I for one believe if the FL don't officially sanction the deal, they are deliberately screwing us because they really want to punish and set an example of us. They know if the deal is done that allows Micky to bring in 3 or 4 players of proven quality before 22nd, then it is likely we will be real promotion contenders partly through spending money to get quality players. That probably does not sit well with them because in reality we should not be in a promotion position given we have been in administration for so long. Therefore what a great opportunity for them to sabotage our push by delaying the deal just enough for us to miss the loan market deadline so we have to struggle on with what we already have thereby possibly ensuring we can't sustain a promotion push this season.

You can't be serious Adams under pressure for getting a squad of 20 players up to second in the league, with no scope to strengthen like others , getting players to agree to reduced contracts and with everything else that's gone on it's a credit to him give the bloke a break he's worked miracles !
