Oxford admission price?

Recommended Posts

I quite agree.... either drop the pay on the day or increase the ST prices..... a fiver difference is about right

But the idea of offering the ST with works out cheaper is that the ST money is available through the close season and is VERY important revenue. If the team have a bad run, have poor results then some may be less willing to go and spend. But if ST holders don't go then then club has already had their money. The bigger the saving the more the incentive to buy(if money is available at the time)

Which could mean that ST price would be less attractive. So less are sold, less money for the club through the close season.

I dont claim to know what the answer is,it will be up to the new owner anyway. But will cutting the price attract enough people to cover any loss. Its a hard call without doubt.

Because the second person [for a fiver] would have to be a new person ie someone who wasnt going to attend.... rather than two mates splitting the price when they would have paid 20quid each

The people who can resist are the people who dont want to sit in the cold and wet watching vales home performances [depending on the weather].... or they are busy... or working etc etc

That is the theory, but how would you monitor this to stop it happening? What is a 'new' person? Never set foot in VP before?
