Oxford admission price?

Of course its a business. And any good business should ensure it doesnt price out its customers (in this case the fans)

5000 to break even, at current prices. Currently averaging about 5000. Cut the admission price to 10 pounds, great idea if the attendance went up to 11,000. If you think it would, you are right. I don't think it would. In fact I know it wouldn't. Admission at VP could be free and I doubt we get anything more than 1000 more. Some people will always be priced out of attending every game sadly. It's a fact of life unless you resurrect Stalin and nationalize football. Initiative, flexibility, attract new fans... yes. But at the end of the day you have to pay if you want to have a club to support.

10 years of mismanagement?

That's not the club (Port Vale FC) that was the old board who mismanaged and they have gone. There are no links to their regime now. So, again how is the club (Port Vale FC) to blame? Blame the old board by all accounts, but you can't blame Port Vale FC. Would you blame a new landlord in a pub, when the beer is good, for the beer when the previous landlord was in charge being awful? That's what you're doing it seems, blaming the club now, when the product is good, for when the old board were in charge and the product was bad.

£20 plus bus fare or petrol money plus car park, plus tea/coffee.

People on benefit or old age pension who might have supported for many years may struggle to attend all matches and so have to be selective.

There are other things that get priority above football.

A ST costs less per game, but a lot of people live away or have jobs that keep them away from some games.

So, how about a '3 for 2' offer or something like it? Don't specify which games it's for so they can come to the ones they can.

And stop selling tickets which specify seat and row that would stop that from working - ST holders keep their nominated seats but make the rest first come gets first pick. No problem with overcrowding - when was the last time we sold VP out?

Why would the club lose money if your are offering buy one get someone in for free or a fiver (small amount) in reality that is earning vale money as these fans probably wouldn't of been going but for a fiver who can resist... It may lead to more regular appearances in the future

That's a no brainer!!!

And I'm sure for this game we will have a few seats available... Food revenue and better atmosphere for a live and only sky game of the season... Makes sense to me
