I thought burge should of stayed on, morsy was very poor tonight for me.

 

Shuker came on and couldn't get involved, Williamson was just Williamson. No game changers from on the bench to be honest.

 

They were probably the worst side I've seen for a while yet they still went forward against our non existent midfield last half hour.

 

Positives, it's four points from 2 games and still sat in second. We need a good result at Exeter now and I think we can get all three points despite what we saw tonight.

 

Good four saves from there keeper in the first half kept them in it.

Only Oxford had a higher gate than us in the division.

 

Then we get Ray Williams, another obsessed with puuting down the attendances, moaning to Mcgarry that only 4300 turned up.

No wonder Mcgarry didnt want to talk about it, Crewe got 3935.

But Crewe have no fans. If they were in an FA Cup Semi Final againts Man Yooo, they'd be lucky to get 3000. Fair play to them, they are in a higher league than us. But they are not a real team, they have no fans, and are just some kind of glorified accademy somewhere non-descript in Cheshire.

Very worrying all round performance and very, very lucky to get a point against a very poor team.

 

A point at Bradford and a win tonight would have been great but that's three games now where we've been nowhere near our early form, not sure what's happened but we have no tempo and no pattern.

Maybe Burge is not up to playing 2x90 mins in a week at the moment? I've never rated Shuker to be honest. Too slow and light weight to play centre mid in league 2. Does okay when he's given a lot of time and space, but so long as we are near the top he ain't gonna get it.

I forgot about dodds! Did he have a kick? The thing is we can't change much attack wise (maybe Vincent centre forward with pope)

 

If popey gets injured we're in big trouble!

 

The early seaon form was great, but like tosh says, these Last three games have been poor. Good thing is we have got 4 points from them.

 

Can we carry on picking points up though?.

 

We rely far too much on the two wingers to make something happen for me, yes they are quick and will frighten defenders but if they don't fire we struggle. Take the lead tonight and its a different matter but right now one team can probably be disappointed with not winning and it isn't vale.

 

Three good chances they had after vale scored they should of scored them.

 

Anyway when's this takeover being complete for a few fresh faces :)

Poor performance tonight imo but let's move on to Saturday now.

They had the first 20 mins and then we stuffed them and their keeper kept them in it. The ref was ***** and missed a blatant red card. Second half we were ***** and they deserved at least a draw. The gap between our front and back players was down the Burge going off and Dodds in the "hole" literally wasnt.

Poor waste of money game and if ever there was a need to get out of admin fast, then today proved the point.

Shocking performance. And at 1-1 i thought we would press on - but they could have won it..they deserved a draw for the last half an hour, where they matched us.

Couldnt go in Tommy Cheadles before the game as they stop letting people in half an hour before the game ( wtf? ) no bovril or sausage rolls, and no atmosphere.

 

Glad we have 20 points..but tonight was garbage, and we didnt deserve to win.
