Whatever Brady's philosophy is, if another 7 players are signed that have the same impact as the 7 he signed in January then Vale will be in a monumental mess.

Some will work, some will not. That's part and parcel. Got nothing but hope at the moment the 'right' ones work out best. The only thing you can say about the 7 that came in is that they have contributed in some way to ensure we don't finish the season rock bottom, which we look like avoiding -- and of course, an FA Cup Quarter Final.

I know Sproey being an agent is a conflict of interest but he talked common sense on Radio Stoke the other day. When we sold Tolaj he said we needed another similar striker, one who runs around upfront and grafts. Instead we signed Cole who hangs around in the box waiting for the ball to come to him, not our style of play. Also said we need strikers with goals in them, pointed out that we were struggling to score when we got promoted. Made sense when he said we needed Tolaj and another player who was also a goalscorer which we should have signed when we got promoted.

I know it is probably just BS and a name that was taken off here but i would be quite happy if we did sign a player like Matt Rush/Danny Ormerod or Regan Linney those type of strikers all know where the net is 

I don't want to go over this again, but why are people still going on about who we signed in January as some sort of barometer to who we sign in the summer.

We were already relegated when Brady came in. We were too far adrift. He had access to the absolute dregs of the barrel. Players that were either unfit or that no one else wanted. Magliore is really the only one you can really throw shade at Brady. He tried him and quickly realised he wasn't up to it and has barely played him since.

He brought in Gray and Hernandez as chancers to try and get fit and make a difference with their quality. Unfortunately Gray is well past it and Hernandez looks to have quality but was so unfit he just couldn't turn it around.

We're now going to be one of the biggest teams in league 2, with one of the biggest budgets and a manager with a proven track record of doing well in this league. We're likely to be an attractive prospect for another Tolaj type from non league as well as some of the better players from league 2.

It's a completely clean slate as far as I'm concerned.

Hope tonight puts to bed any talk of signing sheriff permanent and him being a prospect. Opinions are opinions but anyone that thinks he's a professional footballer of any standard should seek medical advice 

For a striker, I dont think he had a shot last night. Not on target, not off target.

At least being relegated early ish. Knowing what league were in. The re build can start early. Retained list released the day after the final game.
