I'm told by my friend at the club that four players visited the club last week for talks, all were very positive - sadly he didnt have any names.

So how does your friend introduce himself to people…?

I wonder if Garrity could also leave for them? Make sense travel wise if he still lives in Liverpool

I've thought for months that this was likely to happen if he didn't earn another deal.

Much closer to his roots is my thinking

An image search shows that as being Cobra Whisky.

Not a clue...

More likely Snake Oil....... we're getting Norman's contacts back.

Andoran 4th division? Hmmmm, not sure....

What's that you say? Watch this YouTube clip and I guarantee you will win the league and make your millions?

Ok, I'll have half a dozen.

He wasn't released though. He was offered a new deal but turned it down ( a low offer at that)

That’s fair enough but if the offer made was pants he perhaps had little alternative but to go. I know he had some injuries whilst at Vale however, he’s managed around 80 appearances for Cambridge in two seasons which is well above average.

Personally, I’d be glad to see him back but I’m not sure it’s a priority position for us right now.

There’s the key, we already have players in that right sided area. Personally i think he would be a great addition, given his character and the way he plays the game. You know he cares and plays for the shirt, no matter what kind of performance he turned in for us. Can’t say that about too many for us this last few years.

On paper he’s an attractive proposition for a club trying to get out of league two, with his experience and a couple of promotions to his name. If it’s local to us I suppose that means he could end up at Salford, chesterfield, (surely both promotion favourites), wallsall (surely not), Oldham, Shrewsbury (massive step down), us or Crewe. League one options are limited with Burton and Stockport being the only ones I can think of that are close.

Talking to a bloke last week who's currently doing some work at Foyle's house, and he said "Foyle is coming back the Vale according to his wife, Jacqueline".

For reference, I have no idea if he's married, or his wife is even called Jacqueline .

Yep she is called that.

Callum Roberts is leaving scunthorpe to join an EFL club. Seems to be highly rated by their fans and they are massively gutted going off social media

A few clubs from league 2 were interested in him apparently. Rumour is Grimsby have got him

I have seen some Scunthrope fans saying that Rochdale are signing him.

Gibbo had 45 appearances this last season! Never achieved that with us! Personally I would be happy to see him back because his attitude is second to none.

I do wonder if the quality of the pitch & training ground might be contributing to injuries in some way.

I think he's a great attitude to have around and most would welcome him back.

He would certainly make sense if there's a backup spot for him, but we already have Gabriel and John there.
