    Big signing really and our midfield options for league two are embarrassingly good, Byers, Garrity, Walters, Croasdale, just add a goal scoring one to that and we are in a good position.

    Fitness is the big issue with Garrity and maybe the details of the contract reflect that who knows

    I am ok with this though because we know on his day he can be very good,lets see if we can better around him now as long as i dont have to see Shipley again

    Feel like I've gone back in time 9 months when we were all saying this.

    They are good individually, my problem with our midfield is we've barely had any workable or consistent pairings with the amount of rotation. Not sure the four of them have the right balance amongst each other, but maybe thats just me.

    I agree with this. We don’t have any balance in midfield.

    Unless Byers is off, not sure how we are going to rectify this problem now with not much movement to be had with midfield places

    I completely forgot Shipley is still technically on the books at vale. The same gutted feeling you get as a kid on a Sunday and remembering its back to school tomorrow

    Hopefully someone comes in for him soon or at least loan him out until his deal runs out

    Thinking more 24 months ago, for L2 not L1.

    Do think as well Brady will play him more advanced so could be the goal scoring midfielder again.

    I was informed in this thread that Garrity would not sign the contract and would be leaving us.

    I'll never understand why people say things will happen. Not "I don't think Garrity will sign", "I think he will leave", "he WILL leave" I was told.
