You are right we have tried loads of different strikers, how many good ones have we tried, Tolaj excluded. We have played games this season where some of the teams have been no better than us, all over the pitch , with the exception that when chances have fallen to them they score. I can remember numerous games where we started brightly, had several good chances and didn't score, only for the opposition to score with their first chance. That's down to having clinical strikers not lack of opportunity.

A team who as very good strikers are a team who support will come see .

When growing up i saw Beardsley Barnes  and Dalglish and Rush live on ocassions , then when got into Vale through  me dad  we had Foyle, Cross ,Slaven  that team had goals throughout the team,they  were excellent ,we had wingers,jeffers and K kent , we had players who could break the lines and score Van der laan, I Taylor ,R Walker A Porter we had excitement coming at us mostly every game ,then we had T Naylor I Bogie Millsy and excellent players backing them up S Talbot J Jansson Guppy Mccarthy Ainsworth you name it we were very good on the eye ,then Brooker, Mcphee,Bridge Wilkinson , the team who won ldv they had too play 4 games in a week, and won them all ii i can recall ,then we had Popey, Williamson and they were backed up by Morsy, Doddsy, and other fantastic group of pros .

Last time via 1 , promoted we had a late flurry of losses, but managed get past Swindon thanks too great support, and evey  player playing above themselves, and in the final we were too a man superb .

Spread the goals around last promotion .

Feel we need strengthen forwards line 

We dont need 1 player we need 4/5 of the likes of Pope in prime ,Naylor ,Brooker and Hernandez and another Bogie 

Vale need too be putting the emphasis on scoring and the players bought in on loan last season in attacking areas were in the main not at the level .

Make sure we find players at the level .

How could recruitment be so abject

I always thought he was a trial type of loan, whereas others are meant for higher things. Would be useful to build a link with the toffies, had quite a few sweets from them iin the past, including Kyle John.

Offer him £851 a week or £44,252 a year !

Exactly!!!

Talks like he knows about every footballer, team and manager in the EFL yet never seems to go to any bloody games.

I'm no fan of Joey Barton but when he called him out for not actually knowing anything about football, he played the victim and had all his idiot followers sticking up for him. Such a <ovf censored>.
