I usually detest the half and half scarves for regular matches.

However, I don't mind for this. It's a once in a generation, historical occasion. It's only happened twice in 150 years.

The only other time I've ever bought one was when I attended my first ever England international. Just as a keepsake. Wouldn't entertain one for anything other than huge, irregular occurrences.

Got one that I value for the Port Vale v Genoa Cup Anglo-Italian Cup Final.....even wore it to a game at Genoa

Points-with-Bone

Re wembley today, I just can't get used to watching the ball rolling not jigging about like a rugby 🏉 one on our furroughs🙈🙈👍💜

Why though?

It will never be worth anything.

Its just modern day <ovf censored> where everyone has to be nicey nice.

We are going into an FA Cup Quarter final. Regardless of the opposition, if you’re buying a half and half scarf you need your head wobbled.

Yeah, the quality on show wasn't great.

Regarding the half and half scarves, people obviously buy them or they wouldn't sell them.  It makes more sense the club monetising them for themselves rather than some random blokes.

On second thoughts, after opening the email sent out, and actually seeing it, it can get in the bin. Another cheap looking bit of tat. Not even got Chelsea's badge on it. Looks like another Temu special.

Not sure we could sell anything with Chelsea’s badge on it

I just find it a bit weird that the club obviously stood its ground with Chelsea on making ticket prices relatively affordable,  when it could have cashed in, yet is seemingly willing to plug the sale of scarves of what seem very questionable quality for to my mind is a rip off price of £15

When we used to sell match programmes, the opponent's badge would've been all over it, so what's the difference?

So, with living far away and not being able to get to as many matches as i'd like this year, i'm going to have to wait till Friday to see if there is any tickets left for the great unwashed.

Question: so if you look at the details Vale put out about different levels of loyalty points, I qualify for Friday - but what time of day do they go on sale.  For example, is it 1 minute past midnight after Thursday night - if so i'll be staying up to buy my ticket. Or is it 09:00hrs on Friday.  Anyone know...??

Thanks - i'm hoping its 1 min past midnight so I can cuddle up with my Vale teddy on the couch watching the seconds count down 😶

You don't wear or hold up a match programme
