Just seen the value of Chelsea's squad quoted as €1.7 BILLION! If we take the £8m number I saw posted somewhere here the other day as the value of our squad, that means their squad is worth roughly *200* times ours. Just shows how utterly insane football has become! I wonder what the relative squad values were last time we played an FA Cup quarter final?

It would be ideal if we could find somebody to give us 8 million notes for our squad.

In those days players were on fixed wages, same pay in Div 1 as Div3N. (£12 per week). Cardiff offered £30,000 for Colin Askey, would have been the  record transfer in England.

Surely we are seeing THE strangest season of any football league club in the history of the game.......

a. Relegation is now as good as confirmed, thank you Mr Moore.The only possible hope is to NOT finish bottom of the pile......

b. Amazing cup runs EVEN in the league cup, that by the time the dust settles on the Chelsea game will have returned enormous unexpected incomes for the likes of the Vale. The Chelsea game ALONE will Surely rake in over a Million pounds once the live TV coverage is added to the mix....

Forget the Relegation I say, my glass remains half full today. Our available budget on the pitch for next season on will Surely be enormous at this level and will surpass ANY other league 2 club next year and some......

The new manager was handed a poisoned chalice for sure when he took over the task. I can see next season turning into an instant return....

Chelsea have put their hospitality on sale. I couldn't get the Westview Package at £75 so went for the Canoville at £215 with mid tier seating around 18 yard box plus a three course carvery.

I know it's a lot but it feels like the closest we're getting to Wembley and a one off so what the hell?

Same package v Man City on 12th April is £950 and on 18th v Man Utd it £1,200 so I feel like it's decent value.

Hopefully, a few Vale fans can get in there and build a good atmosphere.
