Booked my flight £93. 24 hours in London Town. [emoji3]
Even if I don't get a ticket, I'll be watching in a pub near the ground.

My only fear for this game is, as we will only be given around 6,500 tickets, if season ticket holders (who I agree should always get given first dibs for a ticket) get to purchase 2 each, there won't be any available for the rest of us.

It'll be one each, and based on points rather than being a ST if other high demand games (such as Wimbledon away last season) is anything to go by. Obviously STs have got a massive points advantage, but some will likely have less than others with no ST who've been to loads of away games, and plenty of cup games (thousands and thousands of STs didn't bother for the first 4 matches of the FA Cup). STs including corporate and kids is around 7,000 isn't it? I'd be surprised if tickets aren't available for non-STs with a 6K allocation as not every ST will travel, be in the country, be over the age of 5 or even alive 9 months on! 2,500 might be dead based on the home attendance on Wednesday night!

I'm pretty sure Vale won't make the 6th round again in my life time.

@Matlock Vale

If you are already laying out that much, then you might consider the Chelsea hospitality packages linked earlier in this thread.

Better than waiting another century for the next time we play Chelsea … 🙂

If as many Vale fans go to this match as I think will, you’ll be with a fair few of them in whichever Chelsea hospitality suite they offer for away fans.

My lady says its only small ,free parking 2 hrs and 44 mins away and great links too go on further too fulham then Chelsea or whereever please with 18 pounds day pass on London Underground .
Don't buy a day pass. Just scan your debit card at the gates of each station. It works out far cheaper and there is a limit if I think 11 or 12 pounds a day....once you've spent that you don't spend any more. You'll probably only spend about 7 or 8 quid doing it that way. Day travel passes are a rip off.

Thanks for that explanation, it makes things a lot clearer. Just hope I've got enough points. That seems a very fair system. If I miss out that's down to me. Hopefully a few pints in Mabel's beforehand. If no ticket then I can watch it down my local the Chandos Arms, as it is on BBC. So I'll have a good time one way or another.

My lad didn't get a season ticket due to being at Liverpool Uni but he goes loads of away games and has 430 points. Are those with ST significantly higher?

I know someone who has a season ticket and been to all cup matches at home, one away game with 475 points. I have 90 points, hoping to make the subs bench.

There's always a way!

Simple answer is no. He'll have loads more points than a lot of season ticket holders. If you had a ST for the last 2 seasons, went to 5 home cup games over those years and 12 away games then you'd be on 420.
