Match Thread - Port Vale v Plymouth Argyle

Featured Replies

Absolutely rock bottom.

Awful performance by Vale, again made enough chances to win or at least get something out of the game.

Just knew it was gonna happen, what the hell goes on in the Vale dressing room at half time, just came out again totally switched off.

Well that was a very poor performance, typical of Vale's season.

We have half a dozen good chances and score none.

They have two chances and score off one of them.

I do agree that it's obviously nowhere near good enough.

I don't agree that the kneejerk reaction of sacking the manager is what improves it.

As previously posted, I think the loss of our forwards coach, Lee Bradbury, has had a deeper impact than generally recognised, and I would like to see a new, high-quality forwards coach added to the coaching team.

Im sick to death of watching games where im not looking for a win im just desperately hoping we can rescue a draw its the same week in week out. We can't score and we are playing like a team hanging on instead of a team looking to win. It has been the same all season and we aren't getting better. We just lost at home to the bottom club and nobody is surprised.

Im over it, he has had plenty of time to sort it out he has had the backing enough is enough, moore out!!!!

previously they used to hit wide of the goalie and score.

Big Uche and Lofty used to just hit it wide - actually, did they ever manage a shot?

Their goal through Tolaj was written in the stars no doubt.  But of course his position in the middle of our 3 static defenders aligned the stars nicely for him. Absolutely rubbish defending!

At least we only have Lincoln away next.

Al, Iv really applauded your defence of DM, but re a coach, these strikers should know what they are doing, forwards coach or not.

"Err Devante, Rauri, Jayden, come here a sec lads. Right,  you see those two tall white posts sticking out the ground, well you need to.................."

Factual

⚠️ Alan are you actually the Stoke fan? For ages now you’ve wanted us to stick with DM when it was clear we were heading for the bottom of the table and now have the title of worst team in the league.

No Vale fan would want to see us stuck to the bottom of the table all season.

So plot twist its actually Alan who is the Stoke fan and Nippy Naylor was trying his best to save the team he loves.

But unfortunately no one would listen. 😢

Think that's the earliest I've ever left a game.

Found myself sat there thinking I'm not even arsed if we score and nab a point here.

Dreadful, no answers. He has got to go, right now.

Alan I respect your opinion but I genuinely think you must be watching a different team than the rest of us. I'm sorry to say

I posted the following on 12th November:

our Carol. Footballs not like any other business.

I think you're right and I can see it now how it'll probably play out. Tolaj scores the winner against us for Plymouth to send us rock bottom and to reach the nadir of Moore's reign.

It was just all so damn predictable

I think you need to look up the definition of kneejerk

And how does a forward's coach resolve the rest of the problems in the team?

Were you in a previous life in Berlin In April 1945 by any chance?
