If Jon sees Ruari as a no10 then perhaps he hasn't been in the squad because he has been working on this aspect of his game with the coaching staff behind the scenes. Tbh I think the no10 role would suit Ruari more and I think it would bring the best out of him IMO.

well done today reminded me of watching Zulu at times but shows big time we need a taller midfield Garrity won those headers today but we can't just leave it to him. Headley got to do better with his reaction time far to slow for this league it's as if. he's dreaming not the first time as well does some things good but then let's himself done. On ward's and upward's

I have listened to both interviews @DazFred and unless I'm mistaken I didn't hear Jon mention anything about seeing Ruari as a no10. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I have changed my mind on signing Michael Mellon as i have just seen he suffered a severe hamstring tear at the end of December

I'm quite sure Brady said that he  didn't see Ruari as a number 9

If Jon did say that then that's fair enough tbh I don't see Ruari as a number 9 either but I do see him as a number 10.

I listened to P&G on the BBC Sounds app on the walk back to Stratford and the reason you won’t have is it was a question from Baggers when he said he only had 2 strikers if that was a reflection on Ruari being on the way out and he said if he were to stay here he’d see him as a 10 or a wide forward. Basically Radio Stoke forgot to cut the feed after their guy had finished but clearly edited on the upload.

On Radio Sjoke they asked if Paton was leaving

Brady said he doesn't see Paton as a 9,if he stays he sees him as a 10 so he feels that they need two forwards

Tbh I think Ruari would be better playing as a number 10 rather than a number 9 and I suspect that they have been working on this aspect of his game behind the scenes hence the possible reason why he hasn't been in the squad since the Bolton game.

Slightly concerned about Brady’s post match interview regarding signings.

Didn’t fill me with confidence we had much of a plan or irons in the fire.

I wont get carried away after todays result but what i would like to see is 2 or 3 players come in now and lets at least give it a bit of a go

CM & ST a must. Another winger if possible.

Did Brady mention anything about Clark ?

Quite telling in his interview for me today. Everybody starting today & on the bench 100% wants to be at this football club. That would suggest that's maybe not the case for those not in the squad.

Will go against popular opinion here, but neither Ruari or Mitch would be huge losses IMO. Rauri's best mate Ronan has moved on, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if he was looking for a move away. Mitch started the season really well, but he will never stay fit for a full season. Even when he is fit & firing, he's no better than low L1 standard.

I'm quite liking the clear out myself. Getting rid of those who aren't all in & have egos.

He was always going to say that. What else are you expecting him to say? Those on the field and bench don’t really want to be here so we are just stuck with them
