This was given as a penalty in the Doncaster game tonight and according to Grant McCann the referee told him that he give it because he saw a trip.

If that's true, that is awful! There are simply no decent referees in any of the leagues! Especially ours! 
Every game I'm thinking 'How bad is the ref going to be today?' But actually, he shouldn't even be in my thoughts!

Grant confirmed it in his interview after the match. Exactly you just go in with the mindset now “Oh how’s the ref going to be today is he going to make any controversial decisions etc” and it shouldn’t be like that as you want to focus on the game and talk about how good the game was and not be talking about a controversial decision that has had impact on the final result.

Wasn't sure which thread to put this in, but is anything going on with Walters?

Has he been injured? Just seems odd that he can go from undropabble (player of second half of last season) to not getting on the bench.

I had three theories:

1. A bit of agent interferences again angling for a move

2. We were purposely keeping him under the radar until transfer window ends

3. Form of Ojo so good Moore has just run with that

What do you all think? We were unlucky to get two midfield injuries last night, but leaps out as the only selection failing to just have a half fit garrity on the bench. Hopefully we see Walters for the Doncaster game.

A mix of 2+3 hopefully.

It doesn't add up that the youngest 'regular' first team player is the last to get fit for the season (apparently still feeling the effects of 60 mins last Tuesday). You'd have thought after cementing his place in the first team he'd have been raring to test himself at the higher level. Genuinely thought that if he could prove himself over 35/40 games in L1 this season that he'd get a big move in the summer. Shame if that's not going to happen.

3 Games in 7 days. 

Other players in form. 

Need to rotate.

We can say this every 3 days, 'where is X', but it's going to be one of the answers from the above, most of the time. 

There really isn't likely to be much more into it. If there is interest in one of our players, we are likely to hear something to corroborate them not being in the matchday squad.

I hope the Vale Fans turnout on Saturday  to continue to support the team, I am sure a win is going to happen soon! We are playing entertaining  football at last it will come!

But I think it's still too early for Ben & with regards John stick him in the bench for now and if Clark's levels drop stick John in there , mate

Having John on the bench covers both LWB and RWB. 

One to consider if we want more options for other positions on the bench.

I get this but we have had 5 games this season and he's rarely featured. Just seems odd when you compare with how pivotal he was last season.
