Reubyn is the ref on Saturday. He did our home game with Notts County last season and went on the telly after.

He comes across as refreshingly competent.

I actually thought he was decent to be fair

So ive been thinking ,im.dangerous when i do that .

Theres no reason whatsoever that he couldnt play this team ,i quite surprised that especially when leading he hasnt of yet .

      Marosi

John Debrah Hall

Clark                  Gordon

       Ojo Walters Shipley

         R Richards

             Tolaj

I think we can all say we have been surprised by Walters not starting yet .

But the biggest surprise for me is no Rico

We have scored 2 goals in 360 mins league football Hall and Tolaj .

We have had something like 64 goal attempts 62 to no avail .

Lets  face it  the other night ,Rico would have being a brilliant sub bring on ,we have seen what he can produce ,

Hes a match winner and id like see him.given a roaming role ,behind the chosen striker and a start .

Im hearing Rauri isnt far away .

I know Croasdale is not selected but Walters seems to run out off steam ,and as proven at Rotherham giving Ryan a rest well he came on and was superb .

Just think you got to try other alternatives....

Dont think Faals ready for 90 mins yet, but i thought he was ok in his  offensive work other night ,didnt see that header he should have buried .

Headley hasnt had the best start too life in league 1 , opening half 2 conceded defeat and sending off, first game ,comes on and we conceded 2 other night not that goals his fault but yet too assist or do anything noteworthy in league 1 as of yet .

Hope it improves for him .

Overall we have very good players but we need those connections Vl

Clark and John ,Gordon and Ojo ,Tolaj and someone, keep trying to find the perfect partner for him maybe it could be Rauri if main man JS is out

Goes without saying Garrity should be key to Vales uprising,   but i dont think he affected the game the other night, in fact the many subs, made us a disorganised mess..

In the 70s 1 sub was maybe used ..

Hope we win at 5th time of asking

They won the league ,and we finished 2nd ,so its 2 great clubs going head to head .

Hope theres another 10k crowd

First sat game i wouldnt be surprised if there is already passed 9k i should imagine

I want to see Gordon LCB at some point, I think he’ll do a decent job there and no player should be considered safe in every 11, especially when we haven’t won in the first 4 league games.

Still think we'll see Ojo; yes he went off but think it might just be a knock

The bonus is we’ve only been beaten once with 11 men on the pitch and that was due to our own sabotage in the last 10 mins, so no need to panic.

Garrity required back and sharp though.

Bit of a blow this one. Just as well we brought in Faal really

Like this side, especially the back 3. Would love it if we could get another CB in before the window closes. Someone as good as Humphreys, who's been class.

Obviously, Stockley out, so start with Faal

Also, I'd like to see Ojo start instead of Garrity, as long as he's not injured.

So:

                           Marosi

Clark.       John.    Humphreys.  Hall.   Headley

                 Walters. Croasdale. Ojo

                        Faal.   Tolaj

Only issue at the moment regarding our midfield is linking the midfield to the attackers. Hence why the wing backs need to make sure they get forward and get the crosses in.

I really do hope he gives Faal a start.  I think that's a much better pairing up front with Taloj.

Tbh I don't think we'll see much of Stockley this season and I thought it was telling that against Burton we decided to bring on Waine and Faal instead of him.

His contract up at end of season too.

With how cautious DM is with bringing injured players back into the fold I'd be pleasantly surprised if Stockley regains a starting place full time. Big opportunity for those coming in to seal their place and form a great partnership with Tolaj.

I wonder how much of it was playing him when he was injured has made this current setback worse.

I know it's months away but something is telling me that we won't renew his contract at the end of the season.

I don't think he will regain a starting place full time as he will be on the bench for the majority of the season and I agree it is a big opportunity for those coming in to nail down their place and become a first-team regular. I suspect we also signed Faal on loan as his replacement and not as a backup to him.

Saturday's REFEREE is RUEBYN RICARDO from Leicester. He has an intruiging story in what brought him into REFEREEING. He is a lovely guy who I had the privilege of meeting about six months ago at a REFEREE'S forum. Ruebyn is 28 years old and has last season just got onto Premier League matches. He from my perspective is a young very level headed official and will possibly be up with the likes of Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor in years to come. No pressure for Ruebyn but I saw him in action last seasons in matchbetween Smalsall v Bolton Wanderers in THE FA CUP and he had a good game. Hope that he is the same on Saturday. Also another REFEREEING mate of mine is fourthofficial. No pressure. Hope this bodes well for a Vale victory.
