Well heres my positive spin take on tomorrows game

In last 4 away games Vale won 2 Wimbledon and Blackpool ,too nil drew with ten men, Burton  0-0 and only lost 1 with being first half of seaaon and errors were made v Rotherham so 2 conceded and 4 scored .

So SVA have every hope of a good nights work and result .

Id go with this side .

        Gucci

Clark Debrah Hall Gordon

        Gabriel  Walters Croasdale Headl

          Curtis

          Paton

4 -4-1-1

Folk will say you playing 2 right halfs and 2 left halfs ,im not im creating the width and pace down the sides .

Obviously Paton not going do the 90 so Rico on for him and Waine on for Curtis .

Faal for me id give him 20 at end of game .

Impressed with Walters other day, i believe he can be pivotal

Goes without saying Curtis will put the hard yards in ,just hope he gets  chance unleash a worldie ,im sure he hasnt yet this season he is due hopefully Rauri links the play ,the pace of Gabriel and Headley should give Bham something to think about

Gooarrrnnn Vale

Don't normally do away games but a tenner for us Oldies to a ground I haven't visited seemed a good deal. Daughter used to live in Brum and this is a thing that happens, glad I'm going on a coach.

I’d be tempted to put our second string out for this. League is too important to risk injury, and it gives a week’s rest to those Moore plans on starting against Reading.

I think Walters and Byers will be two starters in midfield

Other than that I have no idea and with the strikers we only have 2 in Waine and Faal who are actually fit unless Paton is ready in which case i would put him in a front 2 with Faal(who needs to build his fitness up imo)

Yep, this is his 3rd game and I imagine he will go straight back into the starting 11 against Reading.

I think we'll be close in this one.

Gauci

John Heneghan Humphreys

Gabriel Croasdale Garrity Headley

Richards Garrity

Faal

Good thing is we have shown we can compete in League 1. Issue is we struggle to score.

I expect (hope) we raise our game again against a good Championship side.

Very slim chance of going through because of our goal scoring problems but you never know. Interesting to see formation and who he plays up front because I believe he will go for his preferred option upfront tonight to also start on Saturday.

I love reading people's opinions but I really can't take people seriously when they put the same player in the predicted line up twice. Especially when he hasn't played for ages!

I hope Vale make it competitive and think Brum will put the reserves out and think that's strong enough to win.

Good luck and safe travels to all the Vale fans

Well these are the games where you would think ,tickets be flying off the shelves ,always loved the big cup ties v  so called bigger clubs .

No expectation nor there should be .

Remember if somehow we get through, we are 1 draw away possibly  from.CS and the club getting even more money spend as season evolves ,so i dont think a flippant it doesnt matter if we lose 10 attitude is right personally ,this game is as big as any game ,for a club who are growing or should i say want to grow .

1.3 k sold  (should really have sold the lot ),aint  a paint pot trophy  game .

But if stevenage can come Vale and win with 129 fans then Vale can go Birmingham and win  with 1300  fans with another 500 paying on day we hope .

Im buzzing for it i really am .
