I get it for players we actually contracted but not loans so much really. There’s been loads of those and many are forgettable. Fairly recent I guess in the guy’s defence but he’s fallen way below our standard now.

Thinking about it I’ve never even checked the forum to see if there’s an ex-players thread to put this kind of stuff.

Port Vale past sub forum would be the place imo.

Jake Beesley about to sign for Burton from Blackpool.

He'd have been the perfect Stockley-type target man we're all hoping to sign.

Damn.

Pretty poor for the vast majority of his short spell with us too IMO. However nothing wrong with keeping tabs on ex-players though I think.

Thats like keeping tags on an ex wife because she was poor at doing the cleaning and stuff like that and wanting to see if she's improved with her new partner 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣

One other good thing with Humphrey’s is that he seems to have a bit of flexibility when it comes to positions.

Not only has he played in midfield, but a bit of research indicates he has played on both the left and right of a 2, RCB, RB and even LCB on occasion as cover.

That may not be accurate as these things are often wrong when positions are shown.

Maybe he plays RCB and we move Jessie to the middle which is arguably an easier position and where he had some great performances last year.

so far:

                        Amos

    Humphrey’s   Debrah   Hall

Gabriel                                Headley

          Byers   Garrity   Walters

                 Tolaj      stockley

Bench of

GK, John, Clarke, Gordon, Henneghan Croasdale, Rico, Curtis

I think Humphreys looks a decent quality signing

Predictably rotherham fans opinions are mixed and not a great deal of help but the consensus seems to be that they wanted to keep him and that he is good on the ball, if that's right then his addition could mean byers could play a bit further forwards.

Looking at that,it's a strong starting 11 and a strong bench to call on in the second half 💪💪👌

That bench is a bit defensive, to say the least.

Nothing mixed here. Sounds like we have a good player for our level signed up which is all we can ask for. Nice to be outbidding clubs who have been around the Championship and top end of League one.

Yep, truly tempting. Pity there doesn’t seem to be a bidding war going on just to maximise the takings. Two million and Dazza could go out and get us a decent striker (Dale Taylor, anyone?) and Carol could pocket the difference to defray her expenses. And maybe a nice bonus for the Academy lads for bringing him through.

Yep, I totally agree, altough it's all gone a little quiet on this front at the moment!
