Not really arsed how we got him. On paper, he’s a bit of a coup for a newly promoted side. Last time we signed Donnelly and Big Derek! 

Seems like exactly what we need....a ball playing centre half with good experience of playing higher. A very good signing at our level and wanted by his former club.

Really pleased with this, physical upgrade on Smudge if he can pinch too… and good versatile option for defensive midfield cover if we need to shore up the midfield too.

Pretty poor for the vast majority of his short spell with us too IMO. However nothing wrong with keeping tabs on ex-players though I think. 

Pleased with this signing. I don't know much about him but if he is quick, tall and good on the ball then he should be a good asset. Welcome to the Park Cameron.

I really, really don't get the hate for Debrah he is quick, fairly strong and gives 100% every game.

 

In our relegation season he got blamed by some for not clearing every single one of the 3756 balls we allowed to be played into our box every game because our midfield was weak, our rwb was constantly out of position, our lwb and lcb were not great and the opposition camped on the edge of our box all game because they knew we had no threat up front. Basically it was debrah and smith v the opposing midfield and forwards they didn't stand a chance. He over elaborated at times but so did smith because that's how they were being told to play.

 

Last season DM told him to keep it simple and as a result he started the season looking a different player. Yes he had a little wobble for a game or two like most of them did at some point, especially at the start, but then he settled down to be an ever present in a pretty decent back 3. His pace was vital and he got smith out of the crap loads of times. He isn't ever going to play in the championship or above but I think he has done well for us at our level and his attitude is spot on.

 

Whether he will be first choice at the start of next season I don't know but even if he isn't he will be called upon at some point and I back him to do well when he is.

I get it for players we actually contracted but not loans so much really. There’s been loads of those and many are forgettable. Fairly recent I guess in the guy’s defence but he’s fallen way below our standard now.
