Prize Cock, made me laugh. 😂

In that case he would be better going to Bradford. 😂Screenshot_20250616_125937_com_opera_browser_BrowserActivity.jpg.44c5a42cde6b49e8b0fe65cab6a960aa.jpg

Have read rumours that JCH is still after a move to Bristol Rovers, probably too much of a stretch for us but he has always looked a class above in this league let alone L2. Didnt really do too badly in the few games he played last season but kinda been written off.......

If he passed the dick head test I would jump at the chance to try and sign him, surely too good for League 2 still at the age of 30

Was excellent think he's on a downwards trajectory and looks like he was carrying excess weight too.

A bit like Curtis then?? I dont mean a prize cock but has an arrogance about him and winds opposing fans up,i like to see a bit of that personally

Checked within the current recruitment process, do their heads drop on going a goal down?

We only won once when conceding the first goal. Newport at home in January.

One of those "pointless" statistics that @DazFred doesn't put much stock in.

Don't think we lost a game we scored first in either conversely which is a pretty mad stat when you combine the two.

Cosgrove has scored not a lot of goals, since he moved from Scotland.

He maybe cheap now, but cannot see him doing anything.

Cosgrave likes a drop of the sauce as well from what Shrewsbury fans tell me from his loan spell there(.  I'm not one to judge as so do I on occasion(usually Friday nights!) but he's a professional footballer🤣

Wow! Just wow!

I'd guess it's a common theme amongst lower league teams(particularly league two).  I don't know but I'd imagine we weren't alone in those stats?(and yet we still went up).  You would think it would get a bit better the higher the league as better players will perhaps have more resolve(or quality) to get themselves out of that sort of situation.

That's a bit mad, how on earth can they justify that outlay with their fanbase? They must be incurring a big loss this season

They have new owners from Kuwait.

Looks like money is no object

From Google - "MK Dons are now owned by a Kuwaiti consortium led by businessman Fahad Al Ghanim."

I don't think contracts bother us too much if the club believes it's the right player... Paton, Tolaj, Headley, Hall and Stockley were all contracted players we signed for fees last season.

Clearly a 21 year-old with two years left would cost a fair old whack (and conceivably out of our range) but this post was just to point out that in recent windows it hasn't mattered too much whether someone is a free agent or not.
