    Be interesting how we've sold the deal to Gordon. 

    Whilst he only played 8 games was it, Headley looked excellent. Surely the undisputed first choice? 

    I guess it's such a high energy position that all 4 wing backs will get plenty of game time. Plus our customary injuries.

    Personally I don't rate Hart, and shorrock needs time (he needs to bulk up and play a full season somewhere)

    The latter 2 are now out of the frame I'd suggest, particularly Hart.

    Thats on the assumption the latter two will be here at the start of the season. I reckon Shorrock may well get loaned out alongside Plant.

    Nottingham Forest were supposed to have been interested in him last summer, so, maybe that move is back on the cards

    Who knows? I'm not convinced that Shorrock is a wing back anyway, so maybe we're thinking of trying 343 again

    Text from my Walsall mate just arrived after I asked him what we were getting.

    "He has been excellent for us over the last couple of seasons mate really sorry to see him go. Good defensively and great going forwards"

    Relegation form this calendar year and now rather then getting some experienced lads to help get out the division they are now going all in prepare playing in NL in 12 months time.

    I imagine Hart will go and maybe shorrock out on loan for some regular football ?

    I said at the end of the season , I will be amazed if Shorrock is still a Vale player at the start of the season.

    I’m convinced we will get really good deal for him to help us build in L1.

    I was also convinced we would sign Iky and Micheal Smith. What do i know😂😂
