"Couldn't run a bath"

My thoughts exactly the likes of speedo and Lodey should have realised that a safety certificate was needed and should have said something, this takes me back to the time we gained promotion to the old 2nd div (championship) 1990 when we had,nt got a safety certificate then and threatened to close the Paddock and railway due to there not being a lightbulb in the bogs

We still dont know why each day goes by and nothing appears to be done!!! what exactly is Ryder doing that he's working night and day to do!! why is a simple transfer of money so difficult in this day and age??

The Supporters and the SC need to address these issues asap or we will not have a club to support soon my patience and the patience of thousands of other supporters is fast wearing thin at the ongoing saga and i,m afraid i,m close to just saying forget it and find something else to do on a sat aft!!

A complete joke and those responsible should be sacked on the spot, there is a way out with every problem and it just needs someone to grab hold of the situation and work it out instead all we get is a shrug of the shoulders and saying its not my problem there's nothing we can do.....ridiculous farce of a club and the people who work there

I imagine that the paperwork on safety was not completed because the owner and therefore responsible person was to be Keith Ryder. The administrator would not want to take on that responsibility beyond the presumed completion of the purchase.

With regard to the Burnley game, and indeed the league games, if the available funding for administration will last another 2 weeks then the club will not have the financial resources to go ahead with the games. The only hope is a completed purchase, near completed purchase where a new owner is prepared to incur costs prior to final takeover or a large financial donation - perhaps another loan from the Council. But the Council has to remain intra vires in its actions as a statutory public body and giving further money to a failing business is dubious. Attaching terms to that as it probably must also impacts on the sale if paying back is a requirement. If you are a voluntary organisation or member using a public facility in the city that has been cut back because of spending constraints, imagine the ill will that is building as Port Vale is treated as a special case.

We big time need a seriously wealthy person or organisation to come in with the resources and commitment to takeover now.

Any safety certificate is part of the administration of the business - there is absolutely no excuse other than the incompetence we probably should have been used to by now.

Unfortunately no half-hearted apology from someone who will have known this was an issue all summer does not compensate for yet another let down from something which people are going to wash their hands of sooner rather than later.

Maybe Ryder is getting started with the re-building of the Paddock..maybe... Or not.

Wtf has Bob Young being doing all these months? Sitting in his office eating Cornettos and playing with his todger?

The cause of the problem is Keith Ryder and Bob Young has to respond to the situation. Keith Ryder showed intent and demonstrated he had the resources. It now seems problems have occurred in his personal circumstances that change that, but Bob Young can only act now that is the case and is doing so.

If KR had completed, say when he had previously been requested to, this tripe would not be happening and everyone would be looking forward to the season. The season ticket money would have been released to pay for any maintenance and a certificate granted.Cheers KR ,hope you enjoy the money you think you have saved. If you dont want the club and ALL the responsibilities that go with it just...............

moan moan moan moan groan moan. It’s all I ever hear. It will be the complete opposite if Ryder signs the deal today.

Administration is what ‘the people’ were all campaigning for last season, and now ‘the people’ are still moaning.
