Pre-season is predominantly just for fitness and I wouldn't read in to anyone performing badly or that Pope has scored 4 in a game.

Pope is a poor player. He won't score 10 goals this season, that's because if Micky has any sense he won't start him. He may be a useful impact sub and hopefully will be able to win us some games. Doubtful but hopefully.

 

To try and justify what he did on that video with any reasoning though is foolish, I am sure Tom will be thouroughly ashamed of his actions that night and wouldn't want anyone justifying it because his missus picked up a phone or whatever. If you think that behaviour is acceptable then you are as bad as he is I am afraid.

Isn't fit lace Foyles,Cross,mills,McPhees,Brookers boots,he was good at times but not nearly often enough.
