Tickets - season tickets, loyalty points, matchday tickets etc

It appears that physical ST are now available from the club shop although there's a sign on the door suggesting otherwise.  They're printing them onto plain plastic cards as a temporary measure and they'll be replaced once the correct ST cards arrive.

I called up this morning to get a mates ST and myself a new hi viz, didn't take long at all.

Yes I've done that in the past too

Went up yesterday, staff printed me temporary ticket. And they also set me up with qr code on my phone in phone wallet, it only took a couple of minutes very pleased with friendly service

He mentioned the retail sales INCLUDED Tranmere tickets? Other queries would take place elsewhere? perhaps I got it wrong....

Apologies if this has been asked/answered earlier in this thread or on another thread. Do we have any finalised numbers on season ticket sales? I get the impression talking to other Vale fans that like me the depression of the last couple of seasons has been replaced with (at last) some genuine optimism for the season ahead. Up to now not one of the ones I have spoken to have carried through on their stated intention not to go up the games, or to go to less games. That being the case I wonder how it will reflect in actual season ticket sales.

   thanks fot the prompt response. That looks pretty promising I would say and testament to the resilience of dedicated supporters. We are like those flowers that have lain dormant for many years in the desert, and then once there is a brief shower of rain they burst into bloom. 

Bit fanciful maybe, but we football fans do survive for many years on nothing more than hope.

I collected mine nearly 3 weeks ago and it looks like the proper card  not a temporary one.

Yes, they were available weeks ago.  Not sure why so many fans seem to have left it until the last minute to pick them up but it’s probably always the same.  What I would say though is that the club should know exactly how many fans wanted physical cards because those that did all paid a fiver extra for the privilege, so there’s no reason to be short of the “proper” card, unless of course the supplier was to blame.

Folk didn't leave it to the last minute, and your last sentence touches on the issue.

They ordered enough for the folk who paid a fiver. They arrived. They emailed fans to go and get them, and people began to.

At some point, someone decides to give those cards to members of hospitality - why, I'm not sure.

The club neglected to tell the fans who'd paid £5 that this was the case.

So, people continued to go up but were then told that they'd 'ran out of cards'.

So as easy it as it to presume everyone's a lazy git who has sauntered up at the last minute, a lot (including myself) went 10 days in advance and have to wait to the last minute because the club decided to give my card to more deserving fans and not bother to let me know,

Following feedback from supporters and reviewing our operations within our Club Store across matchdays, we would like to inform supporters of the following changes to our Club Store and Ticketing matchday operations.

To help alleviate queues throughout matchdays within our Club Store here at Vale Park, we have made the following operational changes throughout:

From 9am until 1pm on matchdays, it will be very much “business as usual”, meaning that supporters looking for support with anything outside of and including matchday ticketing can receive that help from a member of our Club Store staff.

This includes any queries regarding season tickets, 1876 Memberships, away ticket collections, shirt printing and everything in between will be acted on and supported immediately.

From 1pm until 3pm, the Club Store will enter “matchday mode” meaning that staff will only be on hand to support with ticket and retail queries and purchases of that respective fixture only.

This includes ticket and retail purchasing and the cashing in of 1876 Members’ free games, should that fixture be eligible for the offer. Between the hours of 1pm, shirt printing will also be unavailable.

Following each fixture, the Club Store will reopen to supporters with any and all ticketing and retail queries including away ticket collections, should they be available at that time.

Our matchday purchasing windows (formerly known as the ticket office windows) will be reopened on matchdays as well as tickets continuing to be available in the club store to further reduce queuing and wait times.

Any supporter who requires additional support with their account is encouraged to visit prior to 1pm on match day or during a day in the week. 

To further support this, we will be keeping the store open until 8pm today (Friday 16th August) to ensure any supporter who is still to collect or download their tickets, as well as still experiencing problems with their e-ticketing account, can receive the additional help or any support they require.

We would ask supporters to please be mindful that these changes will not irradicate queuing altogether. Please allow yourself sufficient time throughout peak hours at Vale Park, especially on matchdays.

Does anyone know if Barrow are paper tickets collection from the shop ?

My mate says they are QR code, news to me.

Any help appreciated as I'm going walk up tomorrow morning.
