Yep , 12 months too many , squire

He was decent until his injury but he’s still better than Debrah. I think he’ll be ok for us in division 2 and a bit more confidence

This was one of the strikers Flitcroft was trying to sign 😅😅😅

Talk about fishing in the wrong pond!

Maybe why we kept going in to seasons without strikers and ending up with dregs that nobody else wanted.

Their is nothing wrong in aiming high with loan signings,we did get a couple of things right in Arblaster and Devine,I believe we also went in for the striker Larsson from Forest(has he gone Burton now)

True.   The issue was it was our only strategy and not underpinned by having League 1 standard players already in the building with the elite loanees as the cherry on the top.

Not when we didn't have any other options at the club already.

The compilation of conceded goals he was involved in last season is a couple of minutes long.

He is not and will never be a defender, he's got to be in midfield or not in the side at all.

In midfield yes but not, and I must repeat here NOT NOT NOT as a defensive midfielder. He can't tackle and his positional sense from a defensive perspective is non existent. To be honest I don't see him getting any game time as an attack minded midfielder there are far too many better players ahead of him but he is better high up the pitch than anywhere near the defence.

It looks like we are building a solid and capable L2 team which should be top 10 and hopefully playoff / promotion candidates.

We have a very experienced manager under DM who seems to be getting backed by our owners.

The DoF is no longer an issue DM seems to know what he is doing and the new players so far upgrade the team no end.

As for existing players who did not perform to the required standard last season - with no forwards, players played out of position and behind the scenes upset I am willing to wait and judge now the team seems settled. Hopefully we keep BG and EC the rest if they leave all the best if they stay no excuses now do your job and play for the shirt to wear.

Looking forward to the new season

There were a fair few who had shockers last season but as you say a lot were played out of position,I am prepared to give Sang and possibly Grant another crack at it but in Midfield,as for Lowe and Jones I think they should certainly be moved on along with Loft who still fails to convince me despite a couple of better performances towards the end of last season

Just read up on him and he has picked up bad injuries at every club he has been at,so if any truth in our interest I would steer clear of this one sadly as he does seem to have plenty of ability

A shame for that lad but it says it all really

Okay, I love a challenge.

I think yesterday's 2nd half trialist was Matthew Warbrick.

He played on the right wing as a left footer.

He's a New Zealander that's been playing college football in the US.

Couldn't find his age or stats though!

He is 23, it seems he is back in New Zealand now. His father managed the national team. If that's him.

I may be wrong.
