One person on here made a suggestion that Vale’s summer spending COULD be financed by a deal to sell Dipepa and in typical Vale fan fashion, that person gets jumped on by everyone.

i still expect Dipepa to go before the start of the season. All this does is it gives Vale a bigger transfer fee when it does it happen

You have basically had a pop at someone suggesting how Vale’s summer spending spree been done and at the first chance you get, you have rammed it down that persons throat

I thought we had no chance of keeping Garrity and Chislett this summer but hopefully they are seeing these quality signings and want to be a part of a full on promotion charge next season. Same with Ojo.

I can't get over the quality we have in the side right now for a League Two team. Ripley and Amos challenging for the number one spot. Garrity, Ojo, Croasdale and Sang battling it out for a couple of midfield positions. Some serious quality in attack in Chislett, Curtis, Talej, Stockley and Dipepa... The defence still needs a bit of work but Hall and Hart are a very good start.

I most certainly had a pop at the person who said our budget wouldn't be the same or higher than it was last season.

It is certainly making it an exciting pre season probably the best one for a while imo

I actually sort of agree here,I dont think he is a <ovf censored> player but he is only good when he wants to be but he is a sulker so that isn't often but I still dont expect him to be here at the end of the window

It could be financed by the sale of Dipepa, equally it could be financed by the sale of any of the other youngsters, there are a few, or a Garrity or a Chislett for example.  The club have stated we will sign players and nobody has to leave for that to happen.  Currently that’s where we are.  Maybe we will sell a player but I’m thinking that will just add further cash to the funds.  We’ll see.

Connor Hall for captain for me. Stockley has too many red cards on his CV. Would put him under a lot of pressure questioning the referees.
