Won't affect me but why do the EFL continually feel the need to mess around with football fixtures?.

All last day fixtures are now 12.30pm kick offs on Saturday April 27th. In our case Cambridge.

Gets the season over 2 and a half hours quicker which I will take right now!

It will save me a 50+ mile round trip if we are already down by then.

Last day fixtures have always been different kick off times tbf mate. Certainly for the past 10 years or so. Wasn't the Walsall game that we lost 5 nil a Sunday game with a 12:30pm kick off.

Not always, Brighton away for example in ‘94 was 3pm on a Saturday. They did start to change it towards the late 90’s on and off just to piiss fans off…..disguised as giving the lower leagues more exposure which is a croc. 
still time for it to be move to a Sunday yet.

Darren, at first I thought you were referring to next seasons fixtures, but then I realised that, we won’t be playing Cambridge.

In recent years in League One yes. This year it's on a Saturday rather than a Sunday.

League Two they don't seem to be that bothered about moving the final day of the season for telly.

My take on it play the last 9 games on 9 consecutive days and get it over with .

12.30 whatever time Vales last home game is usually a defeat .

I've gone many a time over 33 years and very rarely apart from once think it was 7-2 v Morecambe have I left elated .

Usually leave thinking wtf was thar especially if had player awards same night always thought we will play as badly as and then we can dodge going or it's last game it doesn't matter if we send the fans off with a smile on there faces let's send them off angry and not even stay for the lap of honour in fact I cannot remember ever staying for that that's how rough it is been a Vale fan .

Well that's what it seemed like to me ..

So unless we need a win stay up I wont be going as I generally hate last home games .

It's been really hard last 10 years watching Vale sober .

Good grief they are bad ,was better when I used have a few pints I used to see the good in everything then 

Cynical 52 year old now Vales knocked joy out of me lol .

Cambridge is it last time we played them last game of another horrible season  we lost 5-0 .

Wasn't that game changed because  the police asked them to move it to an earlier kick off,as Walsall were going for promotion, they didn't want any trouble after the game in town,which didn't go well as I remember Walsall fans trying to break the doors down to get into the clayhanger after the match 🤔
