sadly our finances and stupid long term contracts for rubbish players like loft and jones means we won’t sign anyone; what a shambles but just need to stay up with a very average manager; Carol what were you thinking?

I agree as sadly Carol has been blind sided by Flitcroft but how can we get rid of these awful players who are bleeding the club dry

I don't think the players suggested spending lots of money on fences, turnstiles, a new pa system, a scoreboard and the pitch.

A lot of that spending was out of necessity, to progress rather than tread water we have to have the infrastructure in place

We did need the ground doing up. When players rock up and see the ground it might make or break the decision to sign.

It usually comes down to location and salary
The ground looking nice I don’t think will sway anyone

I don't question the need to maintain the ground, just not sure the works were carried out in a sensible manner.

Out of interest what would you have done in terms of ground improvements?
