You are forgetting it was the current regime who got rid of Tom Pope, plus DC. Total hatred of them from TP. Besides, TP would beat up some of the current players. As motivation that would not work on me.😜

He would make a decent impact sub coming on for the last 10 to 15 mins. His passion for the club might have a positive effect on the players.

Just to be clear , I was not suggesting he comes back as a player , just to bring the players and fans together like Jon Walters down the road .

Tom Pope should have been bought in earlier in the season to help/coach Uche, Loft and Dipepa, on the art of goal scoring, how to attack and head the ball and positional play. Could have a huge positive impact on Dipepa in particular.
