The sad reality is, at the very least Crosby managed as much as what Moore has. For a lot less money and no posse of support staff either.

Also when he got the push, we were not in the relegation zone and had numerous games in hand, which Moore has squandered.

I wanted Moore, so I don’t blame Carol for that. I do blame Moore for basically just doing the same as Crosby with nearly everything.

If we think the losses this year are bad, wait til you see next years on smaller gates having to sustain Moore’s mega wage.

He will end up relegating two clubs in one season (as we didn’t have a cat in hells chance after his 3 wins in 23 which is half a season).

Quite an achievement. Well done Darren

I would want to see what he could do with a transfer window (and am sure that is what will happen) but have to admit what felt a great appointment for us at the time is looking increasingly shaky by the game especially some of his in game management. No disputing his record across two clubs this season is horrible.

I have been trying to work out whether Moore is part of the solution or part of the problem, and I can confidently say that I have absolutely no idea.

However I’ve seen very little that makes a case for the former.

For perspective. I’m not sure what more he could have done with the players available?

He’s walked into a car crash.
Most of those players don’t want to be here.

Yes, I will admit we looked a side with no structure. It was just players running everywhere. But I’m not sure there are enough braincells in that squad to implement anything more than a national league north side.

I'm going to put it out there... would Crosby have kept us up?

I think he probably would have. Things were far from great under him, but there's no way we lose 10 from 15 games with him in charge. We'd have scraped enough points to stop up based on the fact we still find ourselves only 3 points adrift. The fact we're not mathmatically relegated yet is astonishing. The bottom of this league is absolute garbage.

Our home form in particular is beyond a joke. I really worry about next season. We're a soft touch & we all know what League 2 is all about. We will be bullied week in week out.

I agree. The extra nous that Crosby had compared to Moore, combined with fewer toys out of the pram and a bit more togetherness from the clowns on the pitch would have been enough.

I doubt it. We were dire under Crosby. Him and Clarke together as AM and Manager were a great combo. But Crosby was never manager material, and we should have stuck with Clarke. I’d take him back tomorrow, especially in L2. Moore looks like he thought he could come in, save us from relegation. Boost his stock, then get a bigger job. It’s backfired if that was the plan because he’s made himself look clueless. But we were a free hit and he’ll get another L1 job next season. I’ll be amazed if he’s still with us for the Cambridge game. I think he’ll walk away.

His mess got us in this situation.

Lets not rewrite history.
From September 19th to November 28th with Ollie and Alfie I’ll add, under Crosby, he lost 8 out of 11.

Lets not make out he would have kept us up.

Correct.

Next person in line is Carol. The lighting of the torches has already begun.

We'll never know but the last time we saw a Crosby team was I think that 3-0 hammering at Fleetwood where we just looked completely unprepared to play. My feeling is it would have been just as bad though maybe we might have won the possession stats more often.
