The problem with appointing a manager is,  they have a legal team, to make sure the contract is water tight, and that takes time, any solicitor I've ever had to deal with,  have been as slow as tortoise, the longer it takes to process the contract, the more money they receive.

Yes he knows his stuff BUT there is a difference in being a main target and actually getting him signed up,in fact the longer it now goes on then i doubt it will be Moore.

Just because, even with all of the things that conspired against him, we were still in the hunt for survival and not even in the relegation zone - with games in hand too.

Nippy Naylor - got another 3 weeks yet before they say they are interviewing a couple of people and then 3 weeks to decide on who it is.

AC was appointed when the close season took place, so they had ages to think about it before the season kicked off.

i was just wondering as current emphasis is on resolving the management crisis, if our attention has prevented us from looking to bring in a free agent striker. This in particular potentially could be an important priority which at least for now until the situation is sorted may well have been shelved temporarily or even terminated all together with costs.
