Don't agree with the subs Crosby made but we've played some good , entertaining stuff the last two home games so credit to him for that. I had a Loft tantrum, but unjustified as he did well. Wigan in the second half of the second half had a big side out there. He helped counter that and occupied their defence. He's coming along - possibly now fit.

Fair point but Chizzy is a much more committed,fired up player than Louis ever was. Louis scored some belters but he was no fighter,bless him.

I personally felt he lost control and was dishing cards like confetti. 8 or 9 yellows in the game. 

Agree with your first point...I'd forgotten that. He picked it up but didn't book him, you're right. Then he should have walked later.

However, I don't think he ever lost control. How many refs this season would have kept stopping it when blokes fell over when they felt a slight nudge in the back. He was having none of that. For me, 8 or 9 cards doesn't show a lack of control and I don't think we would have had the full blooded game we got with some of this season's refs. My opinion, yours is different but I prefer the game to keep going rather than being as stop/start as some.

I watched at home today and it seemed like their first goal completely killed our belief and made us think we were going to face Tuesday's result all over again. 

When they equalised I really thought we were going to blow it again, but fair play they kept going, and Chislett looked like the player we had back in August. 

Interesting point that Crosby spoke about speaking to Loft last week to get him to do a reset on himself, and now looks at least like he's giving a toss, and sat down with Chislett before the game and went though his goals and assists for the last four years to make him feel confident. He's obviously trying to get the best out of the players and I thought today they did look like they were playing for him, which I'm not sure they were in other games.

I'm just happy we have won for a change, supporting your football club should be about enjoying the wins however they come, and we've not had enough of that lately.

From the first whistle to the last everyone played their part in a superb victory.
Yes, the two goals conceded were unfortunate but they papered over the cracks of Wigans woeful 90 minutes, forced by Vales High tempo game.
If we can replicate that over the Christmas period then we can all look forward to a Very Happy New Year.

Harsh. Players are desperate to carry on playing. Not stupidity, just a desire to carry on enjoying life at the top.
