January Transfers and Rumours

Featured Replies

Officially announced. His last three loans have been shockers and based on Klopps last interview this sounds like last chance saloon for him.

Welcome Rhys.

I am sure that with the right encouragement he will be an asset to our team. Welcome Rhys (2)

A few years back he was seen as a big prospect at Liverpool. Obviously it's not gone the way he would have wanted of late but is still at a very good age to turn things around. A decent loan spell with us will certainly help that. A year or so ago we wouldn't have had a chance of signing any player on a club like Liverpool's books, so credit to all involved.

Welcome Ryhs! Unit at the back is needed & good on the ball. One hell of a prospect just hope he stays fit. Fair play to the recruitment team he's an upgrade on Balmer who was dreadful

Welcome to the lad .

Good luck to Kofi aswell OK he made a few errors don't all them at the back make them but I'm sure is career be a good one .

Good luck to both the lads the incoming lad well if he on Liverpools books got have something about him look forwards to assessing whether he as

His size is what I like. We've needed a physical unit.

Can't profess to knowing anything about the sweaty socks league other than it's a 2 horse race every year. It's obviously not worked out for him.

Let's hope he's a fixture in our defence till May.

24 games in 4 years is crazy.

Looks like a calculated risk signing, hopefully he can get game time and prove his worth.

@Osh bang on the money.

Looks like a good loan to me. Balmer was a squad player only so bring in another lad who is expected to be a starter and therefore an upgrade.

On paper 2 good loan players so far. Permanent LWB, either CM or RWB and another loan ST option then it would be a decent window.

Will be gutted if rumours are true about Alfie if not surprising. I think he’s been our best player for the past 2 months and really stepped up since Arblaster injury.

Looks a good signing to me, he’s definitely good enough, issue seems to be fitness / injuries (again) exactly what we need at the back though.

Not seen any rumours on Devine? Need to keep him ideally or we will be in a mess midfield wise!

Need a Wing Back still, a problem position for us in recent seasons, midfielder to cover (2 if Alfie goes) and a loan Striker or a punt on a promising one on a permanent.

A lot depends on how far away Ojo is I guess though, if Devine goes Ojo and Weir with Chislett in the 10 isn't the end of the world.

Looks a bit risky with his injury record- maybe Liverpool are impressed with our medical team’s experience 😀

They certainly did a good job with big Jesse (assuming he’s not out long term now 🤞) when other clubs didn’t seem to want to take the risk.  If Rhys plays regularly and is as good/better than Jesse then happy days.
