If we played on paper, rather than being made of paper, we’d be unstoppable.

Clark Debrah Rhys Yak Grant/Plant

Would we use clips instead of studs?

Think Rhys is going to be one that if he can stay fit and sort his attitude he will be very good. Swansea fans saying his attitude stunk with them - think that’s the only reason we’ve managed to get him as ability wise he should be more than good enough

Seen from a couple of the previous clubs he’s been loaned to saying his attitude didn’t seem great. One of the things Flitcroft has said last season they got wrong on the loans was the character side of things so am sure they’ll have looked at that and how he could fit in with the rest of the squad. In fairness their track record this season with all the loanees from a character perspective has been pretty much perfect.

The Blackpool and Swansea fans I know say he's rubbish, but if you have played 20 games for Liverpool and some are league or champions League games then you have got be half decent. All he's got be able do really is head the ball away, as we have conceded a stack of headed goals. I'm confident he's better than balmer put it that way.

I hope we get some reliable players In that are our own. When these lads go back in the summer we will be back at square 1.

He has played more games in the championship than most of our squad, maybe he is not championship ready yet but he should be good enough for league one.

I think it will be the norm to have 3 or 4 quality loans in, most teams seem to do it.

Other clubs have used the loan market more so than we do - in theory, if we can't turn some of these loans into permanent signings, then the loanees we had just need to be replaced. We seem to be doing ok so far?

I think Forest got promotion with a lot of loans in their squad; and either Bolton or Derby did similar? It's generally less of a drain on resources, too.

So did Plymouth - four Championship and one Premier - and they seem to be doing quite well on it.

The same Blackpool that never gave Garrity a game. I'll take their opinions all day long mate 👍🏻

I’d like to see a couple of permanent signings now, I’m presuming closer to / on deadline day

A couple of strikers , maybe ?

Head everything out of our box, block all the shots in the centre and be better than our midfield on the ball. Oh, and score from our corners and freekicks.
He barely played a match since 2020, how can you say any of that with any confidence? I'll need to see him play 10 games before making any judgement on whether it's a good signing.

If a player who's parent club was a championship team came in and he had the same recent track record of bad attitude/injuries and 24 apperences in 4 years everyone would be up in arms. Because he's from Liverpool people are assuming he's going to be brilliant.

That Ben Garrity's not much good, either...apparently?

He’s an injury risk and I guess it take till end of feb before he fit enough to play 90 , not going to get in to that till I see him play , if he ever does
