he joined us 2 weeks ago mate & has done an interview that's been broadcasted. He's been injured for a while tbf jeez where do some of you lot pop up from where have you been the past fortnight 

Why do you lot think you are the only ones with a suspicion. Did you not read 'I may be wrong'. Well it now appears at least 2 people have said he wasn't injured. He signed before the other two but their interview was on before his. IMO the interview was probably put on late to convince everyone he was injured. Anyway 'us lot' would would love to see you eating humble pie. However you've probably never been humble in your life. UTV

If that's true about Williams then well done Vale. When we signed him I had a look on the Aberdeen forum & there were loads of rumours on there about his attitude & conduct. They ended up keeping him around the place for 4 months, without ever playing him. Vale did the right thing to send him back swiftly, even though it looks embarrassing to the club to have to come out & say they signed an injured player.

On the other side though, Flitcroft has made a big deal in the past about all the research we do to check the players we sign are the right fit for the club, right personalties etc...what happened here then? A 5 minute search on google brought up loads of red flags.

So far today I think we've definitely signed players who will improve us. Conundrum now is 1 loan space and we need a lwb and a striker. I suspect the Uche injury has changed the importance of one over the other. Always possible we could sign someone permanently; or a player near the end of his contract gets released.

I was disappointed Williams didn't start last Saturday. He's out now. But I've been fed up of Port Vale having a central defence that's too small - albeit Debra helped on that front. 

Surely Port Vale had some contractual influence over Williams loan from Liverpool. If he's not fit very soon he can't come .....

I really like Smith and am a fan of his BUT wow that's an intimidating back 3 of Debrah/Lopata/Yak

There always seems to be one club that drags itself out of trouble? I didn't say they would catch the Vale up - I don't think any of the bottom 4, plus a couple above us, will do that!

You still don't know if it's true - you're just guessing, without much logic behind it! Stadium refurbs and player signings are from different budgets - neither affects the other one! And I think it'[s been stated there is no point spending cash on a repair job - there will be a proper rebuild soon?
