Norwich Valiant?

Was in Morrisons Saturday morning down by Carrow Rd and saw a guy in a vale polo shirt. Light blue with logo left chest. 50’s, long hair, couple of earrings. Is there another valiant in Norwich? Someone passing through on holiday or just a guy who picked up a shirt from the charity shop?  I’m curious.

There is a Vale fan named Carl who was one of the original Norwich Valiants, I'd not seen him in years mind but I bumped into him at the playoff game last year.  Doesn't sound like him though.

I live on the North Norfolk coast, but it wasn't me. On Saturday morning I'd begun work building my loft conversion. When the people living in the flat above me got home, they went absolutely barmy.

TBH I'm not certain, as I mentioned I saw Carl for the 1st time in a long time at Wembley, maybe he goes to games local to Norwich, I've not bumped into him at a home game for years.

I was at a comic con late last year, rocking the sexy blue and white away top, and must have spoken to 10 vale fans - just shows you never know where we are going to turn up.

On the subject of the Norwich Valiants. 

I can confirm that I was one of the 2 only members.  The other as Nelly the Valiant quite rightly pointed out was Karl.  We started in 1996 and went every home, away and as many friendlies as we possibly could, including the 2 trips to the Isle of Man & Scotland.  We had Season Tickets in both the new Lorne Street Stand & the Railway Stand for many years.

I returned back to Stoke on Trent in 2011/12  and was a Season Ticket Holder until 5 years ago; I still go to Vale home games. So, yes, there is 1 original Norwich Valiant still over in the east & no he doesn't have long hair or earrings, or he didn't last time I saw him!
