Im not the biggest fan of Big Mac but with no one else then he certainly needs to stay till the end of the season.

 

We have no other defenders, Owen is absolutely awful this season and no Lee Collins so we have John McCombe and thats it.

 

Be interesting to see what Micky does on Tuesday in the centre half role?

 

I just hope we have enough firepower in Rico, Dodds, Rigg to worry them rather than the other way around, and Shuker and Williamson can have another good few games and win us the points.

McDonald has generally been a sound centre half this year. Some fans think the ball was out of play on the second foul and so he may have been unlucky. He has played at league 1 level and could be a decent player in a promotion team next year. This thread is pretty disgusting really, a man is innocent until proven guilty, and a man is entitled to make a few mistakes and not have his living taken away.

You're missing the point. No matter how good he is (and, by the way, I've not judged him or pronounced him guilty) he'll be gone in 10 games anyway. Is there any point, when the club is in administration, to pay wages to someone who is only going to be available to do his job for half the time he's getting paid for?
