and when they open the can of worms labelled PVFC, we may lose more points than just 10 - we need to get as big as cushion as possible between now and the end of the season, - I'd like to see a minimum of 30 points between us and the relegation places.

Thoroughly professional performance today. Nearly a win in a close game. I thought the play in midfield was good, but chances for both teams seemed to come in bursts with considerable lulls in between. With the Accrington strikers I would be worried if I had a glass greenhouse or conservatory within a hundred yards of the ground. Quiet in the stand, but there seemed to be an older mix of fans than went to Northampton the previous week and they are less minded to sing. Also the Accrington crowd is small and distant, so banter is readily at hand. I think there is a respect thing with Accrington, I like the club being in the league because it is just so unlikely looking at the ground.

I think it quite likely we will need 16 points. However, it is the administration that will find issues and cause a further 6 and that may be delayed until next season.

Their centre back Nsiala was great. He was having a right laugh with the folk in the posh seats and came over to shake hands with one of our fans at the end of the game. He's only 19 and on loan from Everton - dirty git but very decent in the air.

Barely put a foot wrong did he, Jean. Though, conversely, you could argue he was lucky he didn't walk for repeated fouls. First time I've seen someone besting Popey in the air.

he was at macc a couple of seasons ago on loan, scores the odd goal too.... maybe worth a punt next season on loan ????

Its good that the players are putting effort in and playing well despite the problems at the club but i dont think its very good of us sitting back on leads and conceding late goals like we have the last few games.
