Stoke fans attending VP

If it means Griff getting some wonga I would welcome any Stoke fan to VP.

You all need to get a grip on this!! for gods sake if Stoke, man u or crewe fans want to help us swell the gate on tues night I dont care what they wear as long as the end result is money in the coffers at this difficult time

 

Wrexham did a similar thing a few years ago and all the fans from all over the country as a show of solidarity walked around the pitch at half-time to warm applause from the wrexham crowd and vice versa, I know, because I was one of the contingent from Vale

Football without rivalry would be boring, football without clubs would be non-existent. Clubs in admin need rival`s support to re-build and restore rivalry.

Unfortunately, there are some mindless idiots that will take exception to what they wear if they do come. And it would only take a few of these idiots to 'kick off' and the whole idea would be spoilt.

 

I applaud any fan from another club coming down to support us, but wearing your own colours will undoubtedly be like a red rag to a bull for a few mindless Vale fans. I think a little bit of common sense needs to be applied by all.

football banter in the workplace made my job so much better , it could start off a nice easy discussion then end up in close to a punch up between 20 stoke and vale fans. looking back it made us a very close group. can u imagine in years to come no rivalry and spending the day talking about corry and eastenders

If visitors wish to wear thier own colours it would seem to be a sensible compromise, otherwise come in mufti if sitting in Home areas with Vale mates. Sad that we cannot trust ourselves and our fellow citizens to behave on a special occasion.

You know what? If seasoned supporters wearing proudly their Club coulours came and spent their hard earned to give both visible and financial support in our hour of need yours truly would truly thank and applaud them
