Loan with view to signing. Barnett has just gone to Peterborough from Crawley for what will be £1 million at the end of the season.

They could technically sign the player (probably Loft) on an emergency loan until the end of the season and then complete the signing full time on the 1st June.

I suppose, but surely that doesn't help us in the short term. So would it be in our best interests?

 

Fair play to the player if he is willing to stay, especially when he isn't getting paid!

some player will have to consider goin out on loan until the end of season to guarentee getting paid...i may be wrong but any player wanting out could go without any breach of contract, as the contract has already been broken by the club not paying them..

good point.. but i surely the legal side of an employee wanting to cancel their contract due to it being broken by their employer is outside the rules of football.

Could be Crawley bidding for Richards as they have just sold their two best strikers. Apparently they dominated the game at Shrewsbury but couldn't score and they have money to burn. Sounds like Micky isn't interested but the administrator might be. We'll see.

It would make financial sense if the mess gets any worse, as it would mean we are not paying a wage and our outgoings are reduced.

It is quite feasible, legal and possible.

Our season could implode in a few days time.

 

If I hadn't been paid I'd think about leaving - no two ways about it. And I would not blame any of the players, with families to keep and mortgages to pay.

 

We are in serious danger of losing our two non contract players, and the likes of Richards, Loft, Griffith and Collins.

this doesnt suprise me at all other clubs will be sniffing around now =(

theres quite a few out of contract its very worrying and i feel sorry for MA because if all the players out of contract decide to leave we will be in very serious problems and could well find ourselfs in a battle to stay in the football league
